Dollingstown Enable Slighty Better Christmas For Local Families

Over the past few weeks all connected with Dollingstown Football Club have been trying to raise money for 2 families who urgently needed help with money for heating oil, clothes and food.

There is a family with a terminally ill child only 11 years old, they also have 2 other kids wee boys aged 8 and 10. Another wee family have 3 kids 2 girls aged 6 and 7 and a wee boy aged 9.

We are delighted to say that with Committee members, supporters, players and a few local care agencies we have completely outdone what we hoped for.

After yesterdays presentations to Barry Trainor, the families in question received fills of oil this morning, lots of presents for the kids which will be handed over for Christmas and with raising more than we expected 2 or 3 other families will also be helped.

A massive well done to all involved
