Dollybirds & Hanover In Stalemate At Planters Park

DFC welcomed Hanover to planters park with both sides having already met in the league 8 weeks ago and Hanover coming into the game on an 8 match unbeaten run.

Hanover had the wind advantage in the first half and only a mixture of good goalkeeping by Stephen Croft and poor finishing by Hanover did the sides go into the break all square.
In the second half the roles were completely reversed with DFC camped in the opposition area but again good goalkeeping by Short and very resolute defending again kept the scoreline blank at the end of 90 minutes.
Aaron Duke hit the bar when he ran onto a Andy McMath header and Richard Thompson fired over when in excellent position as DFC pressed hard to find a winner.
McMath and Chris Coleman were replaced by Scott McCordick and Scott Adams and near the end Thompson was replaced by Davy Gray but despite all the fire power both sides drew a blank.
