DFC made the short trip to neighbours Tandragee Rovers on Saturday and came away with there first victory there for many years.

Aaron Duke who has been in good scoring form this month settled the nerves early on when he controlled a Matthew Walker pass but still had a lot to do before firing into the bottom corner.

And few minutes later a mistake by the home keeper when he brought down Josh Norton after a left-wing cross gave Duke the opportunity to double the lead from the resultant penalty.

Ryan Gourley was very lively in the opening period down the left but his strike partners were unable to convert any of these openings and this allowed Tandragee to get a foot hold in the game and DFC needed Aaron Moffett to clear off the line after Stephen Croft came racing out of his goals.

Richy Thompson who was struggling with a bad back had great chance right on half time to wrap up the game following a great cross from Norton on the right but headed wide.

Both wide men continued to pressurize Tandragee full backs and Norton was unlucky himself not to score on couple of occasions in the second half.

Nathan Lavery then replaced the injured Thompson and worked hard alongside Duke up top before Bicker was sent off near the end for second yellow card and DFC held out for solid victory with Stephen Jones and Glenn Hand having very solid performances in midfield.

Next Saturday DFC host Moneyslane at Planters Park after they hammered Ballymacash Rangers today so yet another very hard game in the final run in for the league.
