On a beautiful sunny afternoon it was the visitors who went away happiest with a slender 1-0 victory courtesy of a penalty on 15 minutes given away by Ryan Gourley after a break away from an earlier DFC free kick that went badly wrong.

Then Thompson went off injured and was replaced by Kernaghan who was immediately into the action bringing a superb save from the keeper.

The home keeper Maguire was then called into action twice in the second half as DFC chased the game in a very positive manner without the final end product.

Gourley was replaced by Richmond and Redpath by Rea as the home side laid siege to the opposition.

A wonderful cross from Hand found Liggett at the back post and his downward header was once again pushed round the post by the keeper.

This was another 3 home points dropped which is disappointing for the players and the management team who all have worked so hard together.

Next Saturday home again in the Irish cup to Lower Maze and hopefully back to winning ways.
