Matchday Reporter Needed

EXCITING MEDIA/JOURNALISM OPPORTUNITY

 – DFC are looking a ‘MATCHDAY MEDIA REPORTER’.

This opportunity would be perfect for someone who is currently studying media/journalism which would help them gain valable experience for their porfolio, but we would also be keen for someone who is just wanting a hobbie and to watch all our matches.

We are looking this person to be available for all our Championship 2 games and possibly a few cup games, home and away. For away matches we will be able to get you to go along with the players in their cars if you are unable to make your own way as there are a few long journeys throughout the season.

The reports can be a long or as brief as the writer wants, about one hundred and fifty words would suit fine. The report must be legible, accurate and precise, the goal-scorers full names, the correct score and any other major incidents that would have had an effect on the result. i.e. red cards, match abandoned.

The reports will appear in our sponsors (The Belfast Telegraph) online edition of The Park on the Monday after the game. It will also be on the NIFL Website and I send an email to all the clubs as well.

They will also be used through our social media, therefore posted on our facebook, twitter and website.

If you are interested please Private Message or Direct Message us and we can have a chat.

We would also like to show our appreciation to all the volunteers that helped with Family fun Day today at Planters Park. To all those who helped with barbeque, tea / coffee, bouncy castles, small games area, football, car parking, music, step aerobics, community outreach desk, face painting, pet farm, tractor rides and general set up – thank you all very much.

Hopefully we will see some of the Faces out at Planters Park again through out the season.

We had around 30 players and staff attend the sit down meal where Mayor congratulated DFC on behalf of the Borough.
