DRAW: The Premier Cup Rounds 1 & 2

The draw for Rounds 1 & 2 of the Premier Cup were made by the MUFL and in the 1st round the Dollybirds will travel to play Ballymacash Rangers at the Bluebell with the winners of that tie hosting Fivemiletown United in Round 2

Reserves & U17’s: Pre-Season Training Starting On Monday 17th July 2017

The Reserves and Under 17’s pre-season training will start on Monday 17th July 2017 at our home pitch, Planters Park at 7pm (ready to go at 7pm).

Both Craig (Reserve Manager) and Samuel (U17’s Manager) encourage all last season’s players and also players involved in the trials we ran throughout the early part of this calendar year more than welcome to attend as well as completely new players who are looking for a fresh start who are interested in joining the dollybirds.

As both Managers and their coaches Jim and Daniel are in new this season there will be a bit of a chat as some stage throughout the 1st session as they outline there plans of the rest of pre-season and indeed the season ahead.

***BREAKING*** Reserves Management Team Announced

Dollingstown Football Club would like to Welcome Craig Willsher (Team Manager) and Jim O’Brien (Coach) to Planters Park as they take charge of our Reserves in the MUFL Reserve Championship.

Both Craig and Jim come to DFC with a wealth of experience and are currently qualified at UEFA B licence and Level 1 respectively.

In the past Craig has worked at Portadown Football Club from U14s up to Reserve level and has also experience at Portadown BBOB, Crewe United and Armagh Blues at coaching and management level.

Jim has gained experience at Tullygally and Lurgan Thistle in both coaching and management.

After accepting the positions both Craig and Jim stated that they are really looking forward to getting to work with the Reserves and Dollingstown Football Club as a whole.

Pre-season training will be starting in mid July and there will be updates once dates and times are confirmed on our social media.

The 1st Cup Draws Of The Season Ahead

The 1st of the season’s cup draw were made on the weekend of Saturday 1st July 2017, details below.

 

Dollingstown 1’s

The Marshall Cup

The 1’s receive a bye in round 1 as all Intermediate teams do and will travel to play West End Hibs in round 2.

Dollingstown 2’s

Wilmor Johnston Memorial Cup

The 2’s have been given and bye in round 1 and in round 2 will travel to play the winners of Rathfriland Swifts and Lower Maze Reserves.

In round 1 the 2’s will travel to play Ambassadors Reserves and the winners of that game will then host the winners of Dromore Amatures Reserves and Rectory Rangers Reserves.
