Reserves Squad Update

Both Manager Simon Brown and his Assistant Chris Loney have both been busy getting a squad together to challenge on all fronts for the season ahead.

After quite a few opening training sessions and 2 pre-season games so far a strong backbone is coming together with a good mixture of past Dollingstown players and new blood blending together which is starting to form an exciting squad.

We would like to welcome back in no particular order, Sammy Wright, Gavin O’Neill, Adam Harrison, Stuart Armstrong, Daniel Bennett, Mark Duffy and Chris Coleman, who have all won trophies with the dollybirds in the past and are very welcome back.

New additions so far are Andrew Denver, David Houston and Rowan Taylor, welcome aboard lads to a great club and best of luck.

Most of last years thin squad have also committed to Dollingstown for the coming season and this mix of experience and youth will bring everyone on and give the opportunity to move into full senior football and enhance the club as a whole.

Further news is expected with Simon and Chris looking at all options.

Dollingstown Team Up With Diabetes UK As Charity Shirt Sponsor

Dollingstown Football Club are delighted to announce that we will be teaming up with 2 charities which will both be displayed on our new Adidas home kit for the coming season in the Bluefin Sport Premier Intermediate League.

Diabetes UK will be the main logo displayed on the front of the home kit and for a first time we will have a sleeve logo which will be CAP (Christians Against Poverty).

We as a club look forward to raising awareness with both Diabetes UK and CAP over the coming season and look forward to working with them on various projects.

Further details will come once the kits are printed just before the official start to our return to NIFL Senior Football.

Disappointing Night As The Dollybirds Continue Their Pre-Season Games

Dollingstown traveled to take on Oxford Sunnyside at Knockrammer Park on Tuesday evening.

It ended up in a disappointing 4-2 defeat, taking nothing away from the home side who were excellent at times and full of energy.

DFC goal scorers on the night were Josh Norton and Neil King.

Thanks to Oxford Sunnyside for the game and good luck for your season ahead, and next up we face Windmill Star this coming Saturday.

Dollybirds Kick Off Pre-Season Games In Comfortable Style

Good first warm up game of the season away to Ballymena Intermediate league side Cookstown RBL

Goals from Andy McMath (3), Nathan Lavery (2), Glenn Hand and Nathan McConnell.

Some good sharp movement of both ball and players despite 4 players missing either on holidays or honeymoon.

Thank you to Cookstown RBL for the hospitality after the game and good luck for your season ahead.

Further Update On Planters Park Improvements

Another week or so on and the improvements around Planters Park are really starting to take shape.

Great work so far by Linton Solutions with all the main fencing now completed and just the installation of the emergency gates to be completed.

Our dugout areas have also been relayed and the dugouts themselves painted and recovered.
