Dollingstown & Banbridge Town Will Clash In The Festive Showpiece At Lakeview Park

The 2018 Final of the Bob Radcliffe Cup will be contested between Dollingstown and Banbridge Town.

Traditionally the game will be played on Boxing Day with an 11am kick off at Lakeview Park, Loughgall.

Both teams currently ply their trade in the Bluefin Sport Premier Intermediate League and no doubt a big crowd will be in attendance for the annual festive showpiece of local football.

Dollingstown are the most recent winners as the trimphed in the 2016/17 season with victory over Coagh United and the dollybirds also reached the final in the 2013/14 season when they narrowly lost on a penalty shootout against Armagh City.

Banbridge Town have won the competition on 2 occasions, firstly way back in the 1980/81 season when they defeated by Newry Town and more recently in the 2010/11 season when they overcame Rathfriland Rangers. They have also been runnersup on 4 occasions so have a great pedigree and will go into the Final with the favourites tag.
