Dollingstown into two Festive Finals

DFC will be playing in two cup finals over the festive period, playing Armagh City in the  in the Bob Radcliffe Cup Final in Loughgall at 11am on Boxing Day, followed by the Premier Cup final vs Carnlough Rovers on Friday 3rd January at Holm Park, Armagh with a 7.30pm KO.

In the Bob Radcliffe: DFC beat Warrenpoint reserves 1 – 0 at Newry Showgrounds in the first semi final with Andy Hamilton scoring with almost the last kick of the game to reach the final. While Armagh City defeated Loughgall from championship 1 2-1 in the second semi-final.

Its the first time DFC have entered this prestigious cup and is a great achievement for the club as a Junior Intermediate Team and will be competing for the trophy against a top 3 team in Championship 2.

Premier Cup: DFC had a tough Semi final against Banbridge Rangers where the game went to extra time and DFC snatched a winner through Simon Davidson who unfortunately broke  his ankle in the process of scoring but his bravery put DFC into the Premier Cup final meaning a busy but exciting festive period.
