EXCITING MEDIA/JOURNALISM OPPORTUNITY

newspapers

DFC are looking a ‘MATCHDAY MEDIA REPORTER’.

This opportunity would be perfect for someone who is currently studying media/journalism which would help them gain valuable experience for their portfolio, but we would also be keen for someone who is just wanting a hobbie and to watch all our matches.
We are looking this person to be available for all or most our NIFL Bluefin Sport Premier Intermediate League games and possibly a few cup games, preferably all home games but also away games if you are up for it. For away matches we will be able to get you to go along with the players in their cars if you are unable to make your own way as there are a few long journeys throughout the season. We also have a Reserves team so there is plenty of scope to watch different levels each week.
The reports can be a long or as brief as the writer wants, about one hundred and fifty words would suit fine. The report must be legible, accurate and precise, the goal-scorers full names, the correct score and any other major incidents that would have had an effect on the result. i.e. red cards, match abandoned.
The reports will appear in local press and they will also be used through our social media, therefore posted on our facebook, twitter and website with links to the likes of NIFL website, Belfast Live, Match On Tuesday and so on.

If interested please fill in the contact form attached with as much information as possible and we will reply.
